With the 485n body shape being used as the starting point and given a venetian style cutaway. The Sitka spruce top was paired with the attention grabbing Padauk Bariole back and sides. The padauk was used throughout the build to add complimentary colours to the front and back head veneer, and rosette which has added abalone.
To match the red tones of the back and sides, the Schaller tuners, centre back strip, heel cap and end graft are made from Snakewood.
The guitar is then bound in flamed maple, to truly finish off the decoration of this one of a kind guitar.
The guitar is finished with oil and wax, and fitted with a Fishman transducer pickup.
