Foundation Series and Empire Series Guitars

From 2023 the acoustic product range will be split in two, in order to allow players to either choose from the Foundation range, which has a more refined selection of options, or Empire range where the skies are the limit to adapt and customise your instrument to your exacting standards.

In the Foundation Series, you can choose from 3 soundboard materials, 4 back and sides, 2 necks, 2 bindings and 2 woods for appointments, as well as full mahogany or walnut models! All of these materials can be used with any of the 4 model sizes we do.

The Foundation Series also comes with hardwearing 36% Nickel Silver frets, a K&K Pure Mini pickup, Gotoh 510 machine heads, oil and wax finish and a hard case.

And all come in at one set price, of £2950!

This gives the player 98 different wood combinations, and that’s before including the 5 optional extras (Arm rest bevel, 12 string, Cutaway, Baritone and Fan Fret).

If you are looking for something more unique, then the Empire Series will be where you can find it. In the Empire Series, everything is available, and the quality of materials used is higher than those used in the Foundation Series.

The Empire series also comes with a lot of additional features auto-included as standard, such as carbon fibre reinforcement in the neck, a titanium hybrid truss rod, gold Gotoh 510 machine heads, abalone in the rosette, purfling around the headstock and fingerboard, a back head veneer, purfling to the back of the guitar, and a K&K Trinity Pro Mini pick up system.

As far as materials are concerned, everything is on the table, and so the instrument can be tailored to match the soundscape you are after. Once you have indicated that you are interested in a build, I will get in touch where we can discuss the options available to you, your playing style, musical tastes etc. to best get an idea of what guitar will most suit you.

In the Empire Series all additional features are available, including those from the Foundation series, as well as options for a 7 or 8 string, sound port, additional inlay, adding abalone or shell purfling, and having the guitar have a gloss or satin lacquer finish. But of course if anything else is on your mind that isn’t currently listed, just ask!

Throughout the build you will receive photo updates of your guitars progress, so that you can form a connection with you guitar before even getting it out of the case for the first time.
